Are you a sea dog or a land crab? It doesn’t matter, because you are welcome to explore the sunny and maritime Kemi Meripuisto-park. The Meripuisto is an over 150-year-old park area right in the center of Kemi and, best of all, by the sea. The sea is an inseparable part of the soul of Kemi and the people of Kemi throughout the year. In summer, the waves of the sea attract boaters to the nearby archipelago and in winter the same landscapes attract those who walk or ski on the ice.

The Meripuisto event area has plenty of cache-themed programs for the whole day. There is, for example, a geocaching-themed exhibition, workshops where you can get to know other cachers and get new ideas for the hobby of geocaching, an information point for new cachers, traditional geocaching community bingo and sales booths. The sea-themed lab caches in the event area introduce you to life at sea and by the sea. The event area also has a special logbook waiting for participants.  So, you’re in for a fun and social park event!
