Adventure Lab -caches are available to find within the mega event area on Saturday from 10.00 (10 AM) to 17.00 (5 PM).

Kiven Alla Oy sells geocaching products as well as the mega event’s official geocoins and shirts on Saturday within the mega event area.

Boat transportation to Laitakari

You can familiarize yourself with Laitakari sawmill island beforehand at https://laitakari.fi/.
The island also contains plenty of geocaches to find!

Laitakari can be reached via M/S LEILA from right next to the mega event area, from the inner harbor of Kemi. The normal schedule for the traffic to Laitakari can be found at Scheduled sailings – Merike. In addition, extra ferry trips for geocachers during the event run from Friday to Sunday. Tickets for the extra ferries can be reserved beforehand at https://www.merike.fi/en/ .

Prices are 20€/adult, 10€/child and 50€/family (2+2) (+the reservation system fee).

Selkäsarvi, Bay of Bothnia National Park

Selkäsarvi can be reached from Letto in Tornio (Koivuletontie 346, 95470 Tornio). The boat can carry nine passengers at once and trips happen twice a day. The trip takes five hours, of which two are spend on the island.

The boat to Selkäsarvi leaves at 10.00 (10 AM) and 15.00 (3 PM). As an exception, on Friday 3.7.2026 due to shepherd swapping day, only one trip is available. The trip costs 50€. For additional info and questions, contact pekka.aho.pah@gmail.com, or 0400 296 425.
